"Century Lotus Grudge" is a 360° panoramic psychological horror visual novel telling a revenge story spanning three generations. In colonial Hong Kong, Yip Chiu-di, a butcher's daughter, falls for wealthy young master Chan Jeff, only to be ruthlessly abandoned due to class differences. After dying with resentment, her vengeful spirit traverses time, targeting not just her betrayer but his descendants. Players journey through three eras of Hong Kong, witnessing a dark tale of love, class, and vengeance.

Story Background

In colonial Hong Kong, Yip Chiu-di, a butcher's daughter, calculatingly approaches wealthy young master Chan Jeff to transcend class barriers. In this relationship born of scheme, she unexpectedly develops genuine feelings. To sever ties with her lowly origins, she betrays her own brother; however, when Chan Jeff ultimately abandons her for a socially acceptable marriage, Yip Chiu-di dies with bitter resentment.

Her soul, sealed in an ash urn, carries her grudge across a century. From the Chan family's second generation to the grandson in a modern campus, Yip Chiu-di recreates almost exactly the same deception Chan Jeff once used on her, methodically executing her perfect revenge.
